Review: Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.

IMG_0020.JPGRecently I read Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell and I loved it so much. It therefore made sense to also buy Fangirl. I had such high expectations because of how much I loved Eleanor & Park and I was definitely not disappointed. I honestly think that Fangirl was so much better than Eleanor & Park was, so much so that I don’t think I can express how much this book means to me.IMG_0023.JPG

Fangirl is about two twins, Cath(er) and Wren, who are starting their first year of college. Cath is the shy, introvert one and Wren is the confident and outgoing one. (They always say twins are the two sides of the same coin, right?) Wren wants to be independent, but Cath is terrified. We follow Cath and she tries to navigate her way through freshman year. Classes, boys, friends, her dad and of course, writing her fanfiction.

This book is something that I relate to so easily. I myself suffer from social anxiety and this book helps to give me hope that everything will be okay. I do think that this book will help many people who have social anxiety, as it helped me.

IMG_0021.JPGI have thoroughly fallen in love with Fangirl and it is a book that will be reread and reread so many times that the bindings will start to fall apart.

If you are going to read one book this year, please make it this one.IMG_0022.JPG

Keep reading xox.
