So the time has come to go through my bookshelves and find the books that I bought but never read.
So on my bookshelves there are currently eight books that I haven’t read. The first of which being Beneath the Surface by John Hargrove. I haven’t read this as I’m saving it for my holiday at the end of the month!! Gotta have some reading material for the beach!
Next up is the legendary John Green’s Paper Towns. I honestly have no idea why I didn’t read this so it will also be taking a trip to Lanzarote with me!!
Then I’ve got In Real Life by Nev Schulman (who many people will know is from MTV’s Catfish) and this was a book that I bought and then put on the shelf to read later and then starting buying new books and it just got forgotten about!! Sorry Nev.
Where She Went by Gayle Forman, this is actually a fairly new buy and I just haven’t got round to it yet, mainly because I’d have to reread If I Stay before I read the sequel.
Next up is The Girl With All The Gifts by M.R. Carey. I have no idea why I bought this, it seemed like a good idea at the time but now I just don’t fancy reading it, so chances are it’ll be a book for when I have absolutely nothing else to read!!!
Then I’ve got Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick. This book sounded like it would be really good when I bought it and it got put on the shelf to read and for some reason I never actually got round to it!!
Solitaire by Alice Oseman. I bought this after I read Girl Online by Zoe Sugg because I absolutely loved Girl Online and I’d read that Solitaire was similar, then unfortunately I actually lost Solitaire (turns out it was under the seat in my car. Oops.) and only recently found it, and as I’m currently reading Why Don’t Spiders Stick To Their Webs? it is on the shelf in the To-Read section!!
Finally, I’ve got P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han. Now I’ve never read anything by Jenny Han before and decided to buy this (well I bought it to make up the price for the free shipping) and give it a go. I think this is going to be another book for the holiday trip and I can’t wait to give it a try.
I can’t wait to have finally read all these books so that my To-Read section will disappear and I will actually have an excuse to go and buy more books (and that’s what it’s all really about anyway!).
Until next time.
Keep reading xox.
